Gorge-ous
On Labor Day Weekend, we drove Historic Columbia River Highway through the Columbia Gorge. We stopped at the Vista House and took some pictures, then took a quick hike to one of the many waterfalls along the way.
We ended up in Hood River--a fun city by the Columbia which boasts some of the best windsurfing and kiteboarding in the world--and is home to the famed Full Sail Brewery.
Since then we've been sharing the stomach flu (Abby started it!), which is why it's been so long since there's been any activity on the old Tangerine Tree. We're all better now, and looking forward to our cross-country trek to Florida on Friday for the weekend (Thank goodness for SWA!)

Call me if you need a stop around Nashville on your Florida trek.
You guys have some awesome experiences available to you right in your backyard. That's awesome! We could take the boys to visit a farm or two here in Kansas but it just wouldn't be as scenic! Did you know a study was done that actually proved we are indeed flatter than a pancake? Tragic.
Hey there! Any stops in STL on that trek? I realize it's probably not quite on your way....hope you all drive safe! miss you! ~amanda
Yipee for visits to FL! Hope you're able to get some rest and enjoy time with grandparents. :) Hope to see you guys again soon.
