Longboat Key has been a Sligh Family destination for many Memorial Day weekends. This year, we carried on the tradition to another generation. Abby got to go put her feet in the Gulf of Mexico for the first time. She had fun in the pool with Mommy, Granpa, Uncle Steve, DK, Steph, Chris and Katie.

It's a baptism, of sorts. Is it weird that my second thought was, "I hope they did this before she gets dipped in the Mississippi River - I want that baby claimed for Florida!"
